2. What Information We Collect
A. For Puja Bookings:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Sankalp details: gotra, city, purpose of puja, deceased person’s name (for shraddha/pitra rituals)
- Preferred puja date and muhurat
- Mode of puja: online, home, or temple
- Number of family members participating
- Special instructions or dosha-related concerns
B. For Hotel Bookings:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Check-in and check-out dates
- Number of guests and room type preference
- Special requests (early check-in, extra bed, etc.)
- ID proof details if required by hotel (collected by hotel directly)
C. For Account & Payments:
- Email address and OTP verification data
- Order history and booking records
- Payment transaction reference numbers
- We do NOT store credit card, debit card, or UPI details — all payments are handled by our secure payment gateway
D. Technical Data:
- IP address and browser information
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on site (via analytics cookies)
3. How We Use Your Information
For Puja Bookings:
- To confirm your booking and assign a verified pandit
- To share your sankalp details with the assigned pandit for ritual preparation
- To send you puja date reminders and muhurat notifications
- To provide online puja participation links (Zoom/video if applicable)
- To send prasad dispatch updates if applicable
For Hotel Bookings:
- To confirm your room reservation with our hotel partner
- To send check-in instructions and hotel contact details
- To coordinate early check-in or special requests with the hotel
- To process cancellations and refunds as per our policy
For Both Services:
- To send booking confirmation emails and SMS
- To verify your identity via OTP during login and checkout
- To maintain your order history in your account
- To process refunds to your original payment method
- To respond to your support queries
